Tһеу still һаνе tһеm tһеrе.Tһе lid ԁοеѕ חοt fit οח properly аחԁ іt overheats. I wеחt onlline аחԁ found out tһаt tһіѕ model іѕ рοрυƖаr fοr having tһеѕе two defects. Costco will take back anything, receipt or not. I have had people return half eaten cakes and things bought 6 years ago.
I’d take it back. If you get any resistance you can tell them how much you trusted them and promise not to ditch bills or boxes again. Be nice about it and they’re more likely to WANT to help you.

I think they keep some kinda record of what u buy from them (they once sent us a letter telling us a product we had bought may be from a faulty batch) so should be ok.
Yes, they will reimburse you ONLY if they can find your puchase in their system. And then, the refund will be in the form of a Costco Cash Card.
I know this from experience. Bought something, tried it out-didn’t like it. Returned it 4-6 mos after the fact and they couldn’t find it in my “file”. They told me basically I was full of Sh**. I argued with them that I did buy it there and listed the time frame and after 40-60 minutes of research they found it because they weren’t looking it up the right way. They have to look it up by Dept. number supposedly. Just warning you… Ask for a manager if it gets to this point – because there are a lot of lazy people out there. They may tell you that this is above or outside the scope of their job responsibilites.
